Tallycent

Terms of service

Version 2026-10-24

These terms apply to Tallycent, provided by Tally Cents Pte. Ltd.. Signing in, and paying for a plan, means you accept them and the Privacy Notice. In effect from 23 October 2026.

Plans and payment

  • Tallycent is offered on Starter and Pro plans, billed monthly or yearly in Singapore dollars. Current prices are shown on the plan page in the app.
  • Free 30-day trial on yearly plans. Your card is taken at sign-up and first charged when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you are not charged.
  • Monthly plans are billed from day 1. There is no free trial on monthly plans.
  • Payment is taken in advance by card through Stripe. Tallycent does not see or store your card details.
  • Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
  • Changing plan takes effect at once. Moving to a higher plan is charged for the rest of the current period; moving to a lower plan is credited against your next invoices, not paid out.
  • Price changes are announced to subscribers at least 30 days before they apply to them.

No refunds

  • Payments are not refunded. This includes the unused part of a monthly or yearly period, a plan cancelled early, and an account closed during a paid period.
  • This does not affect any refund the law requires.

Cancelling

  • You can cancel at any time in Settings › Plan. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
  • You can undo a cancellation until that date.
  • For 30 days after a plan ends you can sign in to view and download your records. New uploads stop. After those 30 days the account is locked until a plan is chosen again.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a period and access continues meanwhile. If every retry fails, the plan ends and the same 30-day rule applies: view and download for 30 days, then the account is locked until a plan is chosen again.

Your data

  • Your receipts and records remain yours. You can download all of them under Settings › Account while you have access, including the 30 days after a plan ends.
  • Each receipt and record is kept for 7 years from the day it was uploaded, whether or not your plan continues, then permanently deleted.
  • To close your account and delete your data sooner, email developer@tallycent.com.
  • Keep your own copies of anything you must retain for IRAS. Tallycent is not a statutory record-keeping service.

Not tax or accounting advice

  • Tallycent organises your records and shows guidance based on the answers you give. It does not review or verify your inputs.
  • "Deductible" and "Claimable input tax" are guidance, not a ruling. Whether an expense is deductible or GST is claimable is decided by IRAS on your facts.
  • Tallycent does not file with IRAS for you. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your GST returns and tax filings, and for keeping supporting records for the period IRAS requires.

Personal assistants

  • On Pro, an account holder may invite up to 2 personal assistants, who can use the account except Settings. Starter is for the account holder only. The account holder is responsible for what their assistant does in the account.

Use of the service

  • Upload only receipts and documents you are entitled to use.
  • Do not attempt to reach other accounts' data or to disrupt the service. Tallycent may suspend an account that is misused or puts the service at risk.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Tallycent is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use, including errors in what is read from a receipt or in a filing based on Tallycent's reports. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

If these terms change in substance, subscribers are told by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
