Privacy Notice

Tally Cents Pte. Ltd. ("Tallycent") provides this service. This notice explains what personal data Tallycent collects, why, where it is kept and how to have it removed, as required by Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012. In effect from 23 October 2026.

Data collected

  • Your Google account name and email address, used to sign you in.
  • Your name and mobile number, given at set-up.
  • Receipt photos and PDFs you upload, and what is read from them: merchant, date, amounts, GST, category and payment method as printed (for example a card type and its last four digits).
  • Answers you give: work profile, GST status, business or personal purpose, notes, projects and client names.
  • Your plan, billing interval and payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe and are not seen or stored by Tallycent.
  • A usage log: sign-ins, receipts read, approvals and exports, with times. It holds no receipt content.

Do not enter NRIC numbers, policy numbers or health details about your clients. Tallycent does not need them.

Purpose

  • Reading your receipts and organising your expense and GST records.
  • Taking payment for your plan and keeping the account open.
  • Answering your questions and fixing faults.
  • Measuring which parts of the service are used, to improve the product.

Tallycent does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

  • Your records and photos are stored on Google Cloud in Singapore (asia-southeast1), encrypted at rest and in transit, in a space only your account can reach.
  • Receipt photos are read by Google's Gemini model on Google Cloud. The reading may be processed outside Singapore. Under Google Cloud's terms, Google does not use this data to train its models.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe holds your card details and billing address under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

  • Each receipt and record is kept for 7 years from the day it was uploaded, whether or not your plan continues, then permanently deleted.
  • You can download everything under Settings › Account while you have access, including the 30 days after a plan ends.
  • To delete your account and its data sooner, email developer@tallycent.com. Deleted photos stay in Google's recovery store for up to 30 days and database backups for up to 14 days, then are gone.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to developer@tallycent.com. Withdrawing consent ends your use of Tallycent.
